A New York City institution since 2008. Bold linework, classic Americana flash, and one-of-a-kind custom pieces — done by artists who eat, sleep, and breathe traditional tattooing.

What We Do
Six Styles.One Standard.
Every artist on our floor specializes in traditional and traditional-adjacent work. No half-baked trend chasing — we tattoo for the rest of your life, not the rest of the week.
American Traditional
Bold black outlines, limited palettes, classic motifs — anchors, eagles, daggers, swallows. Built to age beautifully on skin.
Sailor Jerry & Neo-Trad
Old-school flash sheets and modernized takes. Pin-ups, panthers, hearts, and roses, drawn the right way.
Blackwork & Linework
Heavy black, geometric pattern, ornamental dotwork. For pieces that read clearly across a room.
Fine Line & Script
Single-needle script, signatures, micro motifs. We use single-use cartridges and sterile technique on every session.
Custom Designs
Bring a reference, a memory, or a half-formed idea. Our artists build custom flash that fits you and your body.
Cover-Ups & Reworks
Fix old regrets — bad linework, faded color, dated styles. We consult before booking so you know what is possible.
Pricing
Starting at $100/hr
Final price depends on design complexity, size, and placement. We give you a flat quote at consultation — no surprises at the chair.
Recent Pieces
The Work

About the Shop
Built for theLong Haul.
No Regrets opened in a 600-square-foot walk-up on the Bowery in 2008 with one chair, one neon sign, and a stack of hand-drawn flash. Sixteen years later, we have seven artists, two private rooms, and a waiting list — but the standard hasn't moved.
We tattoo to outlast trends. That means heavy black where heavy black belongs, color that sits in the skin instead of on top of it, and compositions that still read clean in twenty years. Every artist on our floor specializes in traditional or traditional-adjacent work. We don't take walk-ins for blackouts or trend pieces — we tattoo what we believe in.
Cleanliness is non-negotiable. Single-use cartridges, hospital-grade autoclaves, and a New York City Department of Health permit posted by the door. If you've never been tattooed, we'll walk you through every step before you sit down.
Common Questions
Before YouSit Down.
How does pricing work?
Our shop minimum is $100, and our hourly rate starts at $100/hr. Final price depends on the design's complexity, size, and placement. For pieces over a few hours, we'll quote you a flat rate at consultation so there are no surprises at the chair.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes for most pieces — book through the schedule form and an artist will follow up within 24 hours. We do accept Saturday walk-ins from 12–5pm based on artist availability for smaller flash work.
Do you take deposits?
No deposit is required to book a consultation. For larger pieces requiring multiple sessions, your artist may request a deposit at consultation that goes toward your final price.
How clean is the shop?
Our procedure room is hospital-grade. Single-use cartridges, autoclaved tools, fresh barriers for every client, and a current NYC Department of Health permit posted by the door. We are happy to walk you through our setup before you sit down.
Inspected and licensed by the New York City Department of Health. Permit posted on-site.
Every needle, cartridge, and barrier is opened in front of you and disposed of after your session. No exceptions.
Word of Mouth
From thePeople We Tattoo.
“Hank tattooed a full eagle chest piece on me last spring. The linework is so clean it almost looks printed. Took two sittings, no fuss, and the studio was spotless. I've been tattooed in three cities — No Regrets is the gold standard.”

“Mira drew up a custom panther for me from a single reference and a coffee. She walked me through placement, the healing process, even how my skin would age into it. Six months later it still looks like the day I left the chair.”

“Came in for a cover-up of a really bad bachelor-party tattoo from 2011. Sal designed something better than the original was supposed to be. No judgment, no upsell, just craft. The whole shop has the energy of a place that takes the work seriously.”
